3:1. సోదరులారా! ఆత్మీయత కలవాళ్ళతో మాట్లాడినట్లు నేను మీతో మాట్లాడలేక పొయ్యాను. ఆత్మీయత లేనివాళ్ళతో మాట్లాడినట్లు మాట్లాడాను. క్రీస్తు వల్ల మీరు పొందిన జీవితంలో, మిమ్నల్ని పసిపిల్లలుగా పరిగణించి మాట్లాడాను.

3:1. సహోదరులారా, ఆత్మసంబంధులైన మనుష్యులతో మాటలాడినట్లు నేను మీతో మాటలాడలేక పోతిని. శరీర సంబంధులైన మనుష్యులే అనియు, క్రీస్తునందు పసిబిడ్డలే అనియు, మీతో మాటలాడవలసివచ్చెను.

3:1. So, brothers and sisters, I could not speak to you as spiritual people, but instead as people of the flesh, as infants in Christ.

3:1. Dear brothers and sisters, when I was with you I couldn't talk to you as I would to spiritual people. I had to talk as though you belonged to this world or as though you were infants in the Christian life.

3:1. And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, as unto babes in Christ.
